WHO CAN OPEN A HIDDEN TREASURE SHOP?
Are you a committed Christian and member of an evangelical church? Do you have a vision to reach your community for Christ? Do you have leadership skills, the support of fellow believers and caring churches in your area? Then you too, are welcome to contact us. We would love to partner with you and set up a "Hidden Treasure" Shop in your area. You may have an orphanage, home for the elderly, single mothers or ministry to drug addicts, which needs financing. A "Hidden Treasure" shop is a wonderful way to assist with financing the work of the Kingdom.

DOES ONE HAVE TO BUY THE FRANCHISE?
Yes and no! "Hidden Treasure" is a brand name in its own right, slowly gaining the support and confidence of large communities. We have high standards and strive for excellence in all we do. We will gladly train you, give you permission to use the name, help you design and set up shop, provide signage and national advertising, but 50% of shop profits go to the Women's Department's existing beneficiaries of your choice. The balance of 50% may be used for the ministry in your area. There is an exception to this rule, however. Should you choose to run an interdenominational shop, inviting support from other than Baptist Churches for your ministry, we would then require just 20% of your shop profits. The balance of 80% would be yours to invest in Kingdom works.

PERSONAL OWNERSHIP?
"Hidden Treasure" is a ministry of the Women's Department of the Baptist Union of SA. You may not personally own a "Hidden Treasure" shop, but should you have the necessary qualifications, you could be employed as the Manager or Overseer. Both men and women, young and old are involved in our shops...volunteers are essential... we have room for all!

THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT FOR A HIDDEN TREASURE SHOP:
Suitable and affordable shop premises. Before we can consider opening a shop in your area, you would need to find the available premises.

NATIONAL POLICY DOCUMENT:
All Hidden Treasure shops must meet required standards of excellence. We do have a National Policy Document which we require for you to follow.
